Counter-Boarding Protocol
A downloadable game for Windows
This game was created during Potato Jam 2026, organized by the AGH Code Industry scientific club.
You are the ship's central AI, responsible for protecting a crew kept in deep hibernation. When an unknown object collides with the ship, hostile AI units begin boarding and attempt to destroy the hibernation pods.
You cannot fight them directly. Instead, you must take control of enemy units and use them as your vessels. Jump between machines, turn hostile units against each other, and use their abilities to defend the ship and its crew.
The concept draws on the idea of a puppet master controlling another body — your AI consciousness can leave its current vessel and take control of another machine.
For the jam, we chose two themes: “Switching Places” and “Doll”.
“Switching Places” is represented by the core possession mechanic: you switch between bodies by transferring your control from one unit to another.
“Doll” is represented by the controlled enemy units themselves. Once possessed, they become puppets of the ship's AI, carrying out your commands as you fight your way through the boarding.
Protect the crew. Control the enemy. Survive the boarding.
